In each episode a historic monument comes to life on the artists' canvas. The first episode's subject: Süleymaniye Mosque, the crown of Istanbul's skyline.

Two painters set up their easels in Süleymaniye's courtyard; as the brushstrokes progress, the story of the monument unfolds. With the host's conversations with the artists, sunset drone footage over the Golden Horn and an ink-animation title sequence, the program brings history-telling together with the art of painting. Each episode closes with the finished canvas revealed for the first time. Cinematography, editing, graphics and animation all carry the Bi Tık Medya signature end to end.
